Maureen Johnson possessed and directed Martin School of Dance and Baton Twirling for 53 years. All the way through her widespread career, Maureen never stopped learning. Her oblige for ongoing professional development is apparent in the many organizations from which she achieved authorization. These comprise RAD, ADAPT, CDTA, and WBTF, to name a few. 2012/13 Maureen Johnson Professional Development Scholarship is awarded annually to one dance teacher for the Acrobatic Arts Module One Teacher’s Certification Course.
