Eligibility criteria: To be fit for the award one must meet the following:-

-Plan to register in full-time undergraduate study at a recognized two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the United States for the entire 2013-2014 academic year.

Award(s) offered: 15 awards will be arranged: eight scholarships to United States citizens and seven scholarships to non-United States citizens.

(Note: Two scholarships will be selected the Ina Brown Bond Scholars, one for a beneficiary from Louisville (including Kentuckiana) and the other for a beneficiary from outstate Kentucky. The Mayor of Louisville will medal the honor to these students.)

Awards duration: Awarded for the academic year 2013-2014.

Coverage of scholarship: $10,000 each will be arranged.

Criteria of selection: Only a part of applicants to the program will be preferred as finalists and only a part of finalists will be preferred as recipients. Assortment of recipients is a two-step procedure:

Firstly-Scholarship finalists are chosen on a competitive foundation with deliberation of financial need and self-declared academic documentation. Academic assessment of upper or higher secondary school international applicants will comprise an appraisal of the grade/mark average based on the grading classification used in the applicant’s country. Secondly -The finalist’s financial need, confirmed aptitude to conquer obstacles, academic experience and responses to the two essay questions will be used by Scholarship Management Services to select prospective recipients. Recipients must exhibit financial need.
